I have a small group of year 1 students who still aren’t quite grasping the idea of friends of 10, and others who are ready to start thinking about addition and subtraction.  So I came up with this set of cards that can be used in a number of different ways to suit the needs of a variety of students.

It is a set of 28 cards plus 2 full sized 10 frames for practice 10 facts with counters.

Use the cards as a teaching tool or as a game for small groups. There are many different ways you can use the cards – Mix and Match, Memory and many more!

Lots of fun for learning the pairs of numbers that make 10 and the addition and subtraction number sentences that describe them.
