This is an interesting educational video about gears, what they are and how they work. Parts of it are a little long winded, but in all there is a lot of worthwhile information and it saves you having to bring a bike into the classroom!

This video, in 2 parts, is a great educational resource about gears with clear descriptions and informative demonstrations. It includes some more advanced concepts than are needed at this point, but most students will find them interesting, or you can skip bits. I recommend it!
